Southern Style Tuna Salad

Add sweet pickle relish for crunch, a splash of lemon juice to brighten it up, spice it up with your favorite Creole seasoning, and toss with Blue Plate Mayo – That’s the good stuff! This tuna salad is perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or straight from the bowl.

about 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 (5-ounce) can albacore tuna in water, drained
  • 1 hard cooked egg, diced
  • 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish, drained
  • ¼ cup Blue Plate® Mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Flake tuna into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in egg, relish, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Creole seasoning and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Keeps in refrigerator up to three days.
