Killer Hogs Coleslaw

You can’t have good Southern barbecue, fried seafood or fried chicken unless you have a cool, delicious coleslaw to go with it. Barbecue Pit Master Malcom Reed of How To BBQ Right shared his simple, classic recipe made with Blue Plate Mayo – That’s the good stuff!

Yield:

4-6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 bag shredded slaw (green cabbage with carrots)
  • ½ cup Blue Plate Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery seed

Directions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Cover and place it in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours before serving.
