
Perfect Grilled Cheese
Golden brown on the outside with gooey melted cheese on the inside, this classic grilled cheese sandwich is the ultimate comfort food. Now here’s the hack: Spread Blue Plate Mayo on the outside surfaces of the sandwich bread before cooking it in the pan to make the sandwich extra flavorful, golden and crispy. That’s the good stuff!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Blue Plate® Mayonnaise
- 2 slices sandwich bread
- 3-4 slices American or Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Spread mayonnaise on the outside of each slice of bread (the sides of the bread that will face the cooking surface of the pan). Put one of the bread slices mayonnaise side down in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
- Top it with the sliced cheese and the second slice of bread, placed mayonnaise side up.
- Cook the sandwich for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until the bread is a crispy golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
